The State Leader Network at United Spay Alliance unites grassroots organizations, passionate spay/neuter advocates, and leaders throughout the animal welfare community to foster collaboration, support, and empowerment among our members, while collectively advancing spay/neuter services locally and nationwide.

State Leaders are an invaluable resource to both the public, and the broader network of individuals and organizations dedicated to furthering spay/neuter efforts across the country.

How it works:

United Spay Alliance maintains a nationwide spay/neuter directory. We work tirelessly to ensure this directory remains current and comprehensive. Individuals seeking assistance can easily locate nearby resources through our user-friendly directory.

If the public still has a question after using our directory, they can reach out to their State Leader for advice and guidance. State Leaders respond to requests for help as best they can, leveraging their local expertise and connections to address inquiries and navigate spay/neuter services effectively.

State Leaders can help to ensure the accuracy of the spay/neuter directory by letting United Spay Alliance know if any information is missing or needs to be updated.

In return for their invaluable contributions, State Leaders receive a range of benefits, including:

  • Invitations to quarterly calls with the State Leader Network for networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities with leaders around the country
  • Recognition and promotion on their state’s spay/neuter landing page, featuring custom branding, and links to their website, donation channels, and social media profiles
  • Opportunities to serve on ad-hoc committees to address challenges facing the spay/neuter movement, like the Veterinary Shortage Task Force
  • Complimentary access to the annual United Spay Alliance Online Conference
  • Access to grant research and prospecting support from United Spay Alliance team
  • Opportunities to cross-post events, blogs, and other relevant materials to United Spay Alliance audience
  • Collaboration opportunities for United Spay Alliance programs, such as HQHVSN wet labs and Feline Fix by Five

United Spay Alliance values our State Leaders, and lends our support as a national advocacy organization to bolster the work of grassroots advocates, volunteers, and local organizations.

Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals and communities across the country.

Since participating in United Spay Alliance as a State Leader, we have been able to open doors to spay/neuter access for all areas of our state. Being a part of USA has immersed us into what is happening nationally, so that we can stay on top with our spay/neuter program and help other spay/neuter programs in the state stay on top of their game.
