Boost Efficiency in Feline Spays: Tips, tools, and techniques for the practice and beyond

To provide didactic and wet lab training to veterinarians in high-quality, high-volume feline spay/neuter, in order to increase access and affordability of this service to low-income, low-resource populations in Maine, both in the private practice setting and beyond.

Trained spay/neuter professionals, using specific anesthetic protocols and surgical techniques, can spay and neuter dozens of cats a day, providing a vital service to Maine’s underserved cat-owning households.

Participants will have the opportunity to complete a minimum of 5-6 spays on feline patients.

Please note, all participants are expected to attend the entire session. If you cannot commit to the full day, please consider joining our interest list to attend a future event.
