Boost Efficiency in Feline Spays: Tips, tools, and techniques for the practice and beyond

To provide didactic and wet lab training to veterinarians in high-volume high-quality feline spay/neuter, in order to increase access and affordability of this service to low-income low-resource populations in Connecticut, both in the private practice setting and beyond. Trained spay-neuter professionals, using specific anesthetic protocols and surgical techniques, can spay and neuter dozens of cats a day, providing a vital service to Connecticut’s underserved cat-owning households.

Join the Interest List Sign up to be notified about upcoming hands-on training opportunities and be notified if space becomes available in a scheduled wet lab. Interest list notifications are sent when a spot opens at least 36-48 hours in advance. Your registration also helps us plan future trainings. By sharing your interest and location, you signal where additional wet labs may be most useful -- especially in areas we don't currently have any offerings. Interested in Last-Minute Openings? We also maintain a standby list for individuals who can attend on very short notice—sometimes the morning of the event. If you're local and flexible, please email brianna@unitedspayalliance.org to request placement on the standby list for a particular event. Standby alerts are sent via text, so please include the specific event you're interested in, your mobile number, and permission to text you. Please note: being on the standby list does not guarantee a spot. Openings are offered on a first-to-respond basis.
