About your state leader
Mississippi Spay & Neuter (MS SPAN) is a 501(c)3 animal welfare organization founded in 2005 by, the late, Elaine Adair. We were first founded as a referral service to help residents find affordable spay/neuter services in their area.
MS SPAN then started a voucher program, a mobile surgical unit and, in 2008, opened a brick and mortar clinic, the Big Fix Clinic, in central Mississippi. Through our programs, as of December 2022, we have completed our 100,000th spay/neuter!
MS SPAN is dedicated to ending the homelessness, suffering and euthanasia of cats and dogs in Mississippi through affordable and accessible spay and neuter services.
