How to Use This Map

Step 1: Enter a ZIP code, city, county, or state in the search bar to find nearby spay/neuter services.

Step 2: Use the dropdown “Category” filters to narrow your search — for example, to find:

  • Low-cost spay/neuter clinics
  • Feline Fix by Five participating veterinarians
  • TNR programs, voucher programs, transport options, and more

If no listings appear, try expanding your search radius or removing filters to see additional results.

Step 3: When contacting programs, please note that availability may vary. If one organization has a waitlist or isn’t taking appointments, try calling several nearby providers. Many communities have multiple partners working together to help.

      About your state leader

Hero’s Heart is a DBA under our non-profit 501c3 organization called Ready and Action, Inc. This non-profit is based in social change. Animal Rescue is one arm of the social change we want to promote through our mission: Hero’s Heart is a non-profit 501c3 organization that focuses on helping ALL types of animals in need through local and regional collaborations; to include public education, prosecution for crimes against animals and lobbying for humane animal welfare reform.

Collaboration and partnership are at the center of Hero’s Heart. We believe anything we do, can be amplified and more impactful when we join with others. We work with rescues and rescuers around the state to bring high-risk animals to safety; we work with Law Enforcement to promote humane animal welfare practices in our cities and counties; we work with our local government agencies to build equity and awareness in treating ALL animals with respect; we work with citizens who are motivated to make our region a more animal-friendly place. We believe that together, we can create change.

Our non-profit was organized after a small group of people doing private rescue work, joined forces. With decades of combined experience, we can leverage the knowledge and experience of the collective group. Our rescue is named after Hero, a very brave German Shepherd – you can read his story here. Hero inspires us to do more, and is a constant reminder that we need to be vigilant in our pursuit of the humane treatment of all animals.

Hero’s Heart recognizes that our feline populations are suffering greatly. This is driving our current agenda, to focus on the issues surrounding cats. We know there are solutions and through collaborations, they can be realized. We are excited to be the State Leader for Minnesota and to join United Spay Alliance.
