Title of program
Boost Efficiency in Canine Sterilization: Tips, tools, and techniques for the practice and beyond
Brief Description
To provide didactic and wet lab training to veterinarians in high-quality, high-volume canine spay/neuter, in order to increase access and affordability of this service to low-income, low-resource populations in Indiana, both in the private practice setting and beyond.
Participants will learn specialized anesthetic and surgical techniques that enable spay/neuter professionals to perform dozens of procedures per day, delivering a vital service to Indiana’s underserved dog-owning households.
Participants will have the opportunity to complete a minimum of 2-3 spays and 1 scrotal neuter on canine patients of medium to large size.
