Boost Efficiency in Feline Spays: Tips, tools, and techniques for the practice and beyond
To provide didactic and wet lab training to veterinarians in high-quality, high-volume feline spay/neuter, in order to increase access and affordability of this service to low-income low-resource populations in Augusta, Maine, both in the private practice setting and beyond. Trained spay-neuter professionals, using specific anesthetic protocols and surgical techniques, can spay and neuter dozens of cats a day, providing a vital service to Maine’s underserved cat-owning households.
