Job Description:

We are seeking experienced contract wellness veterinarians looking for a fast-paced career providing basic essential services to pets in need. As a contract veterinarian at TCAP, you will be part of our mission to end pet overpopulation and improve community animal welfare throughout DFW. TCAP offers flexible hours, superb work-life balance, and locations across DFW. Some travel in the metroplex may be required.

General Responsibilities:

Vaccinate pets in a high-volume setting
Provide oversight to veterinary assistant
Prescribe flea/tick prevention
Draw blood for heartworm testing and FIV/FeLV testing
Prescribe heartworm prevention (following negative test at our clinic)
Draw up vaccines when needed
Perform cursory exams to ensure pets are healthy enough for vaccines

Requirements:
Must be a licensed veterinarian in the state of Texas. Must be authorized to work in the United States and have reliable transportation.  Must have Professional Liability Insurance. Please submit your resume or CV to info@texasforthem.org
